Seahawks take out the Lions: Ready to battle Atlanta

Going back to the 2012 playoffs the Seahawks put up a valiant effort to come from behind to nearly knock off the Falcons at home. That young QB Russell Wilson walked off the field with a smile on his face and said I'm excited about next year. He could feel something special. We thought it was odd but that optimism surely pierced a path to follow for the team the next year.  Yes he was right about that feeling. Wilson and the Hawks then went on to their first Super title in 2013.

Fast forward to 2017, the Seahawks are returning to Atlanta where it all seemed to start. After knocking off the Detroit Lions 26-6 they are ready to make their 2017 playoff push. If there was one thing that the Seahawks needed to get going it was the running game and 161 yards later they seem to have that in Thomas Rawls. Its just what they need to win a game on the road and possibly two.

More on the Seahawks vs Atlanta later this week.
