The Mariners have added another player to compete in spring training. Dae ho Lee is a Korean native who played the past four seasons in Japan. Dae ho Lee had a career high 31 home runs and earned himself an MVP as well. Lee will compete for a spot at first base. The deal is a minor league deal. Jerry Dipoto said "He has performed at a very high level of production in both Korea and Japan and we are excited to see how that translates to our team." Dae ho Lee is 33.
